Echoes of Hope “A Global Peace Tribute Inspired by 3.11 Japan disaster”

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, a significant milestone.
On this occasion, we are planning to hold a memorial event in the United Kingdom under the theme:
This event is intended not only as a commemoration of the Great East Japan Earthquake, but also as an opportunity to honour those affected by natural disasters around the world, to reflect on ongoing conflicts and tragic events in many regions, and to offer a collective prayer for global peace that transcends national boundaries, cultures, and generations.

Producer:Naomi Suzuki
A UK-based event producer and singer-artist, she works internationally as a cultural bridge between Japan and the UK through music and the arts. She has achieved chart success in the UK, appeared in film and television. Naomi has also organised over 100 charity concerts worldwide since the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Part1.A Play Reading with Piano 
This programme presents a staged reading based on a true story.
It tells the story of a young girl who lost her beloved sister in the Great East Japan Earthquake. In her dreams, her sister appears, gently encouraging her and guiding her toward the future. Accompanied by live piano music, the performance conveys hope, healing, the preciousness of life, and human connection, delivering a quiet yet powerful message to the audience.

Screenplay: Toru Yamamoto (Film Director / Screenwriter) One of Japan’s leading filmmakers, Toru Yamamoto is known for acclaimed works such as "Tokyo Love Story”,"The Eternal Zero", and the recent hit Ikusagami.
In “Ari, Fureta, Mirai”(“A Touched Future”), Yamamoto delivers a powerful message to children who struggle with feelings of isolation or hardship, emphasising that human beings live by supporting one another and by staying connected— a theme that has resonated deeply with audiences.
