The Raindance Film Festival is proud to premiere three amazing Japanese feature films:

The Unluckiest Girl in the World directed by Ryosuke Hayazaka - World Premiere. Screening at Vue Piccadilly on the 18th and 19th of June.
After dying in an absurd accident, a woman wakes up in the afterlife and is forced to choose her next lover through a capsule toy machine. Each capsule contains a disastrous man from her past, from a controlling ex to a ghosting fiancé. As she relives one failed romance after another, she begins to wonder whether her bad luck is fate, or something she can finally take control of.

Nameless directed by Hideo Jojo - European Premiere. Screening at Vue Piccadilly on the 20th and 24th of June.
The usual midday bustle is shattered by a mysterious indiscriminate murder. It’s a bizarre crime committed without a weapon, and the motive is shrouded in mystery. The key lies in the right hand of a suspect. Can people escape from the terrifying truth hidden behind the secret of invisible force?

Tokyo Nightfall directed by Yuto Shimizu - World Premiere. Screening at Vue Piccadilly on the 25th and 26th of June.
After his sister Anna dies by suicide following a traumatic encounter in high school, Amenashi drifts through grief and guilt. Drawn to a clandestine mass-suicide gathering in Tokyo, he enters a nightclub where he and two friends confront entrapment, despair, and the buried emotions that bind them to life.
