Marina is a dream pop–shoegaze singer-songwriter known for her seraphic, cascading vocals and dreamily reverbed guitar work. Born in Japan, she grew up internationally—living in the United States from ages 1 to 7, Vietnam from 15 to 18, and spending the rest of her life in Japan—before settling in London, UK.

She has released “Watermelon Pink Blue Skies,” “Daffodils,” and “Touché.” Her music has been featured on KEXP’s Pacific Notions and praised by notable dream pop/shoegaze outlets such as Shoegaze Blog and White Light White Heat, with reviewers noting her “great potential to create a very unique musical identity.”Her music is inspired by Daughter, Slowdive, and Cocteau Twins, and is described as “her music like aether as she plucks airy tones with her guitar with added reverb sounding like she’s playing an ethereal harp.”

Earlier this year, she has sold out her London headline show at Soho Poly for Independent Venue Week, and has since then played shows in London, Leicester, and Glasgow as a performer in the shows for Pink Breath of Heaven, Selkie, Dayydream, Ayu Okakita, and more.

Marina Yozora is now heading to Bristol, Brighton, Manchester, Newcastle, and London as her UK Tour. She will be supporting UK artists such as Selkie and Lacuna. More information and ticket links are below.
