Special 35mm Screening : SAÏTO Daïchi's Experimental Short Films

We are delighted to partner with Sonic Cinema to bring a programme of short films by award-winning filmmaker SAÏTO Daïchi to the UK!

Presented from the artist’s personal 35mm prints, this is a very rare opportunity to experience SAÏTO’s films Trees of Syntax, Leaves of Axis (2009), Engram of Returning (2015), and earthearthearth (2021), which explore landscape, memory, and perception in unique and innovative forms.

Both screenings will be followed by an in-person Q&A with SAÏTO Daïchi, giving audiences the chance to gain direct insight into his analogue filmmaking process.
