Japan Spring Series:Japanese for Beginners - Taster Session & Sushi!

"Would you love to learn some Japanese but have never had the chance? Join us for a “fun” taster session where you can learn some basic phrases from our guest lecturer, Ms Yuko Fujimitsu-san, the Chief Japanese Language Advisor, at the Japan Foundation (London), together with Mrs Noriko Tabner, the University’s resident Japanese teacher.

Anime, teriyaki, karaoke, origami, sushi, sake, manga, emoji, pokemon, ninja, tsunami, karate, judo – I bet you already know more Japanese words than you realise!"

The Japanese Language Taster Session is one of a series of events being organised for the Japan Spring Series 2019 at the University. The event is co-organised with the Japan Foundation and is part of the UK-Japan Season of Culture and the Beyond 2020 projects.
