In Sky Piece To Jesus Christ (1965/2019), a group of musicians play a score, whilst another group of performers begin to wrap medical gauze around each member of the orchestra along with their instruments, as well as the conductor.
Performed by students from Anglia Ruskin University and conducted by Dr Paul Rhys, Senior Lecturer in Music, Anglia Ruskin University.
Followed by a discussion with Dr Paul Rhys and Gabriella Daris, Curator of YOKO ONO: LOOKING FOR…, moderated by Dr Ross Cole, Research Fellow in Music, University of Cambridge, and Q&A.

This performance runs in conjunction with Yoko Ono’s exhibition Sky Pieces at The Heong Gallery, and is part of a larger project, YOKO ONO: LOOKING FOR…., showcasing Yoko Ono’s work in the city of Cambridge for the first time, and running from 2 March through to 31 December 2019.
