Ippodo Matcha Tea Tasting in Yumiko Iihoshi Porcelain

On Friday 1 November and Saturday 2 November, The Stand in The Shop at Japan House London holds a special event for visitors to taste Ippodo matcha green tea, specially prepared in Yumiko Iihoshi porcelain for this occasion. This event is attended by representatives from Ippodo, a high grade green tea provider from Kyoto, and potter/maker Yumiko Iihoshi.

This event coincides with Yumiko Iihoshi's exhibition at Gallery Eclectic (3-18 November).

This drop-in event is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and is free to attend. A special gift set including a matcha bowl by the artist, a tea whisk and matcha green tea will also be available for purchase at The Shop starting 1 November 2019.
