HYPER JAPAN is the largest exhibition celebrating Japanese culture to be held in the UK. Organized by Cross Media Ltd., it was first held in London 2010. Centred on Japanese cuisine and popular culture such as gaming, manga, anime and music, the event introduces a wide range of Japanese culture, encompassing technology, fashion, traditional crafts.
Having undertaken the difficult decision to postpone the Festival due to the spread of COVID-19, HYPER JAPAN is providing exclusive online content straight from Japan, including webinars, entertainment and shopping.

Day 2:  9th May 2021, Sunday 
Day 3:  23rd May 2021, Sunday 

Time:  14:00-15:30 (90min lesson each day)

  • £65 - Single person ticket to participate all 3 lesson of Beginners course including a "Cha-kin linen cloth" and 1st class shipping fee within the mainland U.K.

  • Attending the Tea Ceremony as a guest
  • Kimono and the Tea Ceremony
  • Importance of nature and the seasons in the Tea Ceremony 

Day 3

  • How to make Tea the Japanese way
  • Introducing the Tea Box and Tea

Yuko will have Q&A time in each session.

Yuko Boff : 
Yuko Kobayashi Boff is a member and lecturer of the “Omotesenke” Tea School. She has been studying Tea since she was a teenager in Tokyo, and currently practice both in Japan and London.
