Workshop plan

Please be prepared 10 minutes before the workshop starts. Yuko will talk about the following topics and show you how to wear Yukata properly.

1. Brief explanation of Yukata and its usage
2. Different kind of Yukata – for kids, ladies and men, with different styles of Obi
3. How to wear Yukata properly
4. 2 different way to tie your Obi : Chohcho (Bunko) musubi & Kainokuchi musubi
5. Q&A time

Equipment needed for the class

Please prepare your Yukata and Obi (belt) if have them. Otherwise, feel free to watch and ask questions!

About the instructor;

Yuko Boff

Yuko Kobayashi Boff is a member and lecturer of the “Omotesenke” Tea School. She has been studying Tea since she was a teenager in Tokyo, and currently practice both in Japan and London.
