A delightful day in Tatton’s summer gardens, bringing you traditional Japanese festival activities in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan and JETAA UK (JET Alumni Association United Kingdom).
Perfect for all the family to pause for a while, relax and enjoy traditional Japanese activities, likely including:
- Shodo (Calligraphy)
- Koto performance from Sumie Kent
- Tanzaku (traditional wish cards)
- Haiku
- Origami
- Children’s Carp Streamers and other crafts
There will be opportunities to take an exclusive tour of the Japanese garden on the day as well; this is a rare opportunity as the garden is typically closed to the public.
