H.E. Ambassador Shin Ebihara

Shin Ebihara has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the UK since April 2008.He previously served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Indonesia from 2006-2008. Mr Ebihara joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1971, and his positions include Director-General of the North American Affairs Bureau and Treaties Bureau. He also served as Executive Secretary to the late Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi in 1998-2000, and as Assistant Chief Cabinet Secretary in Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi��s administration.
