Embassy holds Joint Briefing with JETRO London

On April 21st, the Embassy of Japan in the UK, jointly with JETRO London, held a briefing for British and Japanese companies and organisations, to explain countermeasures taken in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake.

In the briefing, embassy staff explained the current situations in Japan, of issues including ; the situation of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, levels of radiation in and around major cities, regulations for the safety of food and drinking water, the safety of industrial products, and the situation of major airports and harbours.
