Second International Manga Award
The Second International Manga Award Executive Committee is currently accepting entries for the award which is now in its second year.
The award was established in May 2007 to honour manga artists who have contributed to the promotion of manga overseas. On Monday, 26th November 2007, the Second International Award Executive Committee was set up and it was formally decided to run the award for a second time.
The Second International Manga Award Golden Prize will be given to the best manga from all the entries. It is expected that three distinguished works will receive the Silver Prize.? In addition, the Japan Foundation will invite prize winners to Japan for approximately 10 days during which the award ceremony will take place.?There will also be an opportunity to meet with Japanese manga artists and visit publication companies in Japan.

Two copies of the work must be submitted.
The deadline for submissions is 29th February 2008.
