2018/7/12

On 2 March 2018, the Embassy of Japan in the UK held the “UK Japan IoT Connection Seminar 2018,” bringing together leading Japanese and UK IoT Companies, along with key figures in the latest initiatives in this field. More than 150 guests joined the event.
Thanks to the recent progress of communications technology, we are now entering a new era when expectations are high for IoT and other information technologies, which leverage data to create new services and contribute to areas such as business, cultural advancement and education. Both in Japan and the UK, the efforts towards realising this are gathering pace, with a number of government and industry initiatives.
With the aim of further developing Japan-UK cooperation in the IoT field, this event consisted of several presentations focusing on the big picture for the future era and coming use cases of IoT.
