2020/7/20
Update on the current situation
As we approach the end of July, JICC facilities remain closed to the public, but we have been encouraged by the wide vareity of online events being held by various organisers under the banner Japan-UK Season of Culture 2019-2020. Make sure you check the online calendar for the latest event updates and you can also follow the Season on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We are also pleased to announce the launch of our annual Manga Jiman Competition! This year sees the 14th edition of the competition. The theme for this year - Technology - was revealed by Minister Takeshi Ito, Director of the JICC, during an online event with former winners of the competition. A recording of the event can be found on the Embassy`s YouTube channel.
For fans of our short quizzes we also have two more topics for you to test your knowledge on! Make sure to follow the Embassy on social media for the latest quiz updates.
