Update from the JICC

September is here, and with it the biggest online Japanese cultural event - Japan Matsuri Presents! Featuring a wide variety of performances, workshops and talks, this 2 day event is sure to have something for everyone! The event is free for all to join on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September, 10am-8pm. Check here for more details.

We are happy to announce that next month sees the reopening of our exhibition space at the embassy. The Techniques Shaping Japanese Textiles, will explore the influence of Japanese textiles in the UK. Eight artists will be highlighted, who together have mastered weaving, dyeing, embroidery and stitching techniques. For more details, click here.
