Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime’s courtesy call on the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice Robert Buckland

On 24 May, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime of Japan in the UK paid a courtesy call on the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice Robert Buckland and conveyed his gratitude for the Lord Chancellor’s participation in the Kyoto Congress (the 14th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice), which was held this March. They exchanged views on the cooperation between Japan and the UK with regard to a wide range of legal and justice-related issues.
