The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games are taking place this summer. In the first of a double exhibition on the Olympics and Paralympics, the Embassy of Japan presents TOKYO 2020: The Exhibition.
Tokyo first hosted the Olympics in 1964, with the iconic poster designs of KAMEKURA Yasaku creating imagery that went on to form the backdrop for Japan's post-war 'economic miracle'. The exhibition begins with reproductions of these iconic posters, before exploring in detail how Tokyo 2020 aims to be the most sustainable games in history. With video displays, details on the new National Stadium and more, we hope Olympic fans in the UK will enjoy the exhibition.
