Tokyo 2020 Paralympic heritage flame lit at Stoke Mandeville Stadium

On 19 August, Tokyo 2020 Paralympic heritage flame was lit at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympic movement.
In the speech, Ambassador Hayashi paid respect to the Paralympic movement and Stoke Mandeville’s pioneering role and expressed his hope that the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games would become a major catalyst for Japan and the world to embrace diversity even further.
