On 28 September, Ambassador and Madame Hayashi were in attendance at the opening of the British Museum’s “Hokusai: The Great Picture Book of Everything”.

The exhibition “Hokusai: The Great Picture Book of Everything” will display 103 rare hand drawn images created by Hokusai for an encyclopedia that was never published, depicting scenes from China and India alongside animals, plants and customs. The exhibition will run until January 30, 2022.
