On 29 September, Ambassador Hayashi offered remarks at an online event for the JET Alumni Careers Fair 2021. To the attendees who had come back from Japan to the UK on completion of their assignments as teachers of English and coordinators of international exchanges all over Japan under the JET Programme, he expressed his gratitude for their contribution and hoped they would further strengthen the ties between Japan and the UK.
