Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime’s meeting with COP26 President, the Rt Hon Alok Sharma

On 24 February, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime had a meeting with COP26 President, the Rt Hon Alok Sharma to exchange views on COP26 and COP27, as well as on the Japan-UK cooperation in the field of climate change. Ambassador Hayashi expressed his high appreciation of President Sharma's dedicated leadership of COP26, and expressed his expectation that Japan and the UK will continue to work closely together towards Net Zero.
