On 26 February, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime spoke on the telephone with the Rt Hon Amanda Milling MP and discussed the current serious situation over Ukraine. Ambassador Hayashi stressed that Russian military actions constituted a serious violation of international law, including the United Nations Charter. They agreed on the importance of a united response by the international community and the need to continue working closely together.
