Ambassador & Madame Hayashi's attendance at Japan House London’s private viewing of “Symbiosis: Living Island”

On 19 May, Ambassador and Madame Hayashi attended the private viewing of “Symbiosis: Living Island” at Japan House London.
The exhibition displays how the art project on Inujima Island in Okayama Prefecture, located in the Seto Inland Sea, has changed the island’s landscape and lives of its residents.
At the reception, Ambassador Hayashi talked about his interest in the project’s concept of "the symbiosis of nature and architecture." He also expressed his hope that many people from the UK will be able to actually visit Inujima in person and experience its unique charm.
