On 24 June, Ambassador and Madame Hayashi attended the 35th Anniversary Dinner of the Canon Foundation in Europe Fellowship Programme.
In his remarks, Ambassador Hayashi noted that, since the Foundation's establishment in 1987, it had supported more than 500 young researchers who were at the forefront of their fields. He expressed his pleasure that the network fostered by this programme had served as a bridge between Japan and Europe, leading to deeper mutual understanding, goodwill, friendship and cooperation.
