On 6 July, Ambassador Hayashi attended the ceremony for the 50th anniversary of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company (Europe) Limited.
At the event, Ambassador Hayashi commended Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company for their longstanding contribution to the British economy. He went on to express his conviction that the company would continue to facilitate the further growth of the economy in the UK by addressing the difficulties faced by Japanese companies and encouraging them to build on their presence in the UK, even in an era of uncertainty and upheaval.
