IWC 2022 Award Winning Sake Tasting

On 8 July, the IWC (International Wine Challenge) 2022 Award Winning Sake Tasting event was held at the Embassy, featuring Japanese sake makers who had won the Sake Awards.
At the beginning of the event, Ambassador Hayashi praised the achievement of those Japanese sake makers and paid tribute to the IWC and the Sake Samurai Association for their untiring efforts to promote Japanese sake. He expressed confidence that their endeavours in this regard would contribute to further reinforcing the already strong friendship between Japan and the UK.
