On 28 September, Ambassador Hayashi offered remarks at an online event for the JET Alumni Careers Fair 2022. To the attendees who had come back from Japan to the UK on completion of their assignments as teachers of English and coordinators of international exchanges all over Japan under the JET Programme, he expressed his gratitude and respect for their contribution and his wish that they would play the role to strengthen the ties between Japan and the UK.
