On 29 September, Ambassador and Madame Hayashi attended the opening event of the exhibition “Circles of Stone: Stonehenge and Prehistoric Japan” at Stonehenge.

In his remarks at the opening event, Ambassador Hayashi said that the exhibition would bring Japan closer to the British people by shedding light on the ancient Japanese culture and the similarities between it and the UK.
The exhibition will run from 30 September to August 2023. Visit the English Heritage website for more information about the exhibition.
