On 15 November, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime had a meeting with the Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, Minister of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs (Indo-Pacific). They discussed the Japan-UK cooperation in the area of defence and security, trade and business, and climate change and energy, as well as the regional situations.
Ambassador Hayashi welcomed Minister Trevelyan’s recent appointment and expressed his hope to work closely with Minister Trevelyan to strengthen the Japan-UK cooperation to realise the free and open Indo-Pacific and the bilateral partnership.
