My Neighbour Totoro wins six Olivier Awards; Ambassador Hayashi conveys congratulations to the Royal Shakespeare Company

On 2 April, the winners of the Olivier Awards 2023 were announced. The Royal Shakespeare Company's production of My Neighbour Totoro, performed at Barbican Theatre from October 2022 to January 2023, won Olivier Awards in six categories (Best Director, Best entertainment or comedy play, Best set design, Best costume design, Best lighting design and Best sound design).
Upon this achievement, Ambassador Hayashi sent congratulatory messages to the Royal Shakespeare Company, expressing his compliments to the winners and all those involved. He also expressed his support and high expectation for the revival of the show, which is scheduled to start in November 2023, and wished for the continuing success of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
