Ambassador Hayashi’s meeting with the Rt Hon Lord Goldsmith of Richmond Park, Minister of State (Overseas Territories, Commonwealth, Energy, Climate and Environment)

On 12 June, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime had a meeting with the Rt. Hon Lord Goldsmith of Richmond Park, Minister of State (Overseas Territories, Commonwealth, Energy, Climate and Environment) and exchanged their views on a wide range of initiatives which Japan and UK had been taking in the fields of climate change, environment and energy including the result of the recent G7 Hiroshima Summit. They confirmed that both the UK and Japan would continue to promote close international collaborations in these fields.
