Ambassador Hayashi’s meeting with Nusrat Ghani MP, Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade

On 29 August, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime had a meeting with Nusrat Ghani MP, Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade, with whom he exchanged views on such topics as economic security and building resilient supply chains, the automobile industry, the UK’s accession to the CPTPP, cooperation towards the G7 Trade Ministers' Meeting in Osaka-Sakai scheduled for October, and the 2025 Osaka Kansai Expo.They confirmed the importance of continued close collaboration between Japan and the UK on these issues.
