On 7 September, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime attended the 40th Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime and delivered an address during the dinner held at Jesus College, Cambridge.
Co-chaired by Professor Barry Rider and Professor Chizu Nakajima of the University of Cambridge, the annual, large-scale international symposium is attended by lawyers, practitioners and academics from around the world. The Embassy of Japan in the UK has supported the symposium in various ways since 1993, including through speeches by the Ambassador.
