Ambassador Hayashi’s attendance at a parliamentary lunch hosted by BJPG

On 12 March, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime attended a parliamentary lunch hosted by the British-Japanese Parliamentary Group (BJPG). The lunch was attended by members of UK Parliament from the both Houses and Government, including the Rt Hon Greg Clark MP, Chair of the BJPG, the Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt, Chancellor of the Exchequer, as well as representatives of Japanese companies, who enjoyed a networking opportunity.
In his remarks, Ambassador Hayashi emphasised the importance of the role that British parliamentarians and Japanese companies have played in the development of the partnership between the UK and Japan and asked continuing support for the further development of Japan-UK relations.
