Ambassador Hayashi’s visit to BAE Systems

On 2 April, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime visited the Warton Samlesbury factories of BAE Systems Plc, where he was briefed by Herman Claesen, Managing Director , on the company's activities for the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) , achievements in the combat air business and others.
Following the briefing, Ambassador Hayashi observed the manufacturing process of combat air vehicles and GCAP related research and development updates in the factory. He also met and exchanged views with Simon Barnes, Group Managing Director of Air.
