Ambassador Hayashi’s attendance at the Japanese Garden Society’s 30th Anniversary National Conference

On 13 April, Ambassador HAYASHI Hajime attended the 30th Anniversary National Conference of the Japanese Garden Society held at Japan House London.
In his remarks, Ambassador Hayashi referred to the Association's 30 years of contribution to building and maintaining Japanese gardens in the UK and expressed his appreciation of the Association's efforts to promote mutual exchange and understanding between Japan and the UK. He also voiced his hope that the exchanges between Japan and the UK through gardens, including British gardens in Japan, will maintain their significance as symbols of friendship between the two countries and that gardens will continue to be places of peace and relaxation for people and bridges of friendship between Japan and the UK.
