On 25 June, Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan received a Ceremonial Welcome from Their Majesties King Charles III and The Queen at Horse Guards Parade, followed by a lunch at Buckingham Palace, given by The King.
Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress then viewed a special exhibition in the Picture Gallery of items from the Royal Collection relating to Japan.
In the afternoon, Their Majesties visited Westminster Abbey and laid a Wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.
