Talk event: Yoshida - A Family of Print Masters

On 17 July, the Embassy of Japan in the UK hosted a talk event on Japanese printmaker Hiroshi Yoshida and his family.
There are two exhibitions currently on in London celebrating this talented family.
In June, ‘Yoshida: Three Generations of Japanese Printmaking’ opened at the Dulwich Picture Gallery to become the first exhibition of Yoshida Hiroshi’s works to be held in Europe.
The Embassy of Japan is also hosting the exhibition ‘Yoshida - Seasons through the Eyes of a Family’,
At this talk event, Dr Monika Hinkel, main curator of the Dulwich Picture Gallery exhibition, and Ms Helen Hillyard, curator of the gallery, introduced Hiroshi Yoshida's work and stories related to him.
This event was organised in association with the Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Japanese Gallery Kensington.
