Ambassador Suzuki’s attendance at a reception hosted by the First Minister of Wales

On 21 November, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended a reception in London hosted by the First Minister of Wales, The Rt Hon Eluned Morgan, Baroness Morgan of Ely.
After the reception, Ambassador Suzuki had a meeting with the First Minister, where they exchanged a wide range of views on strengthening and further promoting the Japan-Wales relationship, including economic ties and cultural exchanges. They expressed their expectations for upcoming events such as ‘Wales and Japan 2025’, an international exchange event between Wales and Japan, and Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Ambassador Suzuki also discussed ‘Wales and Japan 2025’ with representatives from the Welsh Government.
