Ambassador Suzuki’s attendance at the 18th Japan-UK Rail Working Group annual meeting

On 9 December, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended the 18th Japan-UK Rail Working Group annual meeting. In his remarks, Ambassador Suzuki expressed his expectation that over 150 years of cooperation between Japan and the UK in the railway sector will continue to develop further in the future. Lord Hendy, Minister of State for Rail, attended on behalf of the UK government. The Working Group has been held annually since 2002 for the purpose of mutual exchange of information and to foster potential areas of cooperation between Japan and UK railway professionals in the future.
