Ambassador Suzuki's meeting with officers of the British-Japanese Parliamentary Group (BJPG)

On 17 December, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki invited the officers of the British-Japanese Parliamentary Group (BJPG), including Sir Mark Hendrick, Chair, Viscount Trenchard, Co-Chair, Mark Garnier MP, Treasurer, Lord Spellar, Vice-Chair, and David Taylor MP, Honorary Secretary, to his official residence. They exchanged a wide range of views on the further strengthening of the Japan-UK partnership.
The BJPG is an all-party parliamentary group that aims to develop and improve links between the British and Japanese parliaments and to encourage a deeper understanding of their respective cultures. It also has an important role to play in promoting trade between the two countries.
