On 7 January, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki visited the Warton and Samlesbury factories of BAE Systems Plc, where he was briefed by Simon Barnes, Group Managing Director of Air, and Herman Claesen, Managing Director, on the company's activities for the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).
