Ambassador Suzuki’s attendance at the event celebrating The Grand Sumo Tournament in London

On 16 October, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended an event to celebrate The Grand Sumo Tournament at Japan House London（JHL）, hosted together with the Japan National Tourism Association (JNTO).
The event took the form of a panel discussion hosted by well-known sumo commentator Hiro Morita. In conversation were highest-ranking referee the 39th Kimura Shonosuke and Grand Champion Yokozuna Onosato.
During the event, Ambassador Suzuki reflected on Grand Sumo’s vital place in Japanese culture and expressed his delight that the tournament had returned to the Royal Albert Hall. He highlighted the historic nature of the event and extended his sincere thanks to the Sumo wrestlers, organisers, and everyone involved in bringing the tournament back to London.
