On 12 February, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended a meeting hosted by the British-Japanese Parliamentary Group (BJPG) in Parliament. The meeting was attended by members of both Houses, including Sir Mark Hendrick MP, Chair of the BJPG, and Viscount Trenchard, Co-Chair of the BJPG.
At the meeting, Ambassador Suzuki discussed topics such as prospects for Japan-UK relations this year, followed by a Q&A session where attending members expressed their appreciation for the strong Japan-UK relationship and shared their views and interests regarding cooperation in various fields, including politics, security, economy, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
