Ambassador Suzuki Attends Media Luncheon for the National Ballet of Japan’s London Performance

On 21 February Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended a media luncheon hosted by Artistic Director Miyako Yoshida of the National Ballet of Japan at the Royal Opera House, ahead of their first London performance in July this year.
During the luncheon, Ambassador Suzuki emphasised the deep friendship and cultural ties between Japan and the UK, highlighting the crucial role of the performing arts in strengthening these bonds. He also remarked that Director Yoshida’s return to the UK and the National Ballet of Japan’s first London performance are a step toward furthering the friendship between the two nations, and extended his encouragement to the National Ballet of Japan for their London performance.
