Congratulatory message for Ms Shida and Ms Matsuyama on their Yonex All England Badminton Championships victory

Embassy of Japan would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms Chiharu Shida and Ms Nami Matsuyama on winning their second Women’s Doubles title, the first in three years at the Yonex All England Badminton Championships 2025 on 16 March.
The final was against fellow Japanese doubles pair Ms Yuki Fukushima and Ms Mayu Matsumoto. We would like to pay sincere tribute to both Japanese pairs.
Also, we are delighted that many Japanese athletes made excellent performance throughout this year's championships. We look forward to all Japanese players continued success and to seeing them back in Birmingham next year.
