Ambassador Suzuki‘s Credentials Presentation Ceremony with His Majesty the King at Buckingham Palace

On 1 May, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki, accompanied by Madame Suzuki, presented his credentials to His Majesty King Charles III at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Following the presentation of his credentials, Ambassador Suzuki conveyed a message from His Majesty the Emperor to His Majesty the King and expressed his earnest wish to do his utmost to widen and deepen the relationship between Japan and the UK.
Ambassador Suzuki arrived in the UK in November 2024 to take up his role as Japanese Ambassador. He began his diplomatic activities in the same month after submitting a copy of his credentials to the FCDO, and on this occassion was able to officially present his credentials to His Majesty the King.
Following the presentation of his credentials, Ambassador Suzuki conveyed a message from His Majesty the Emperor to His Majesty the King and expressed his earnest wish to do his utmost to widen and deepen the relationship between Japan and the UK.
