Minister Ikegami’s attendance at BCS Anglo-Japan Friendship Trophy Match

On 8 June, Deputy Head of Mission Minister Masaki Ikegami watched BCS Anglo-Japan Friendship Trophy Match held at Ham Polo Club in Richmond, near London.
Ham Polo Club is the only remaining polo club in the vicinity of London, serving as a central hub for polo players and spectators from around the area. Polo enthusiasts from both Japan and the UK gathered for the friendly match to cheer for their team in what was an exciting and closely-fought contest.
BCS Anglo-Japan Friendship Trophy Match:
This event has been held since 2018 with the purpose of fostering cultural exchange between Japan and the United Kingdom through the sport of polo.
