Ambassador Suzuki’s attendance at the Annual General Meeting of The Japan Society

On 23 July, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended the Annual General Meeting of The Japan Society, held at the Embassy.
The Japan Society, established in 1891 with the aim of strengthening friendship between Japan and the UK, has a long and distinguished history, and Ambassador Suzuki currently serves as its President.
In his remarks, Ambassador Suzuki expressed his appreciation for the remarkable achievements delivered under the leadership of the new Chairman, Rt Hon Greg Clark, who assumed office in January this year, as well as for the dedicated support of the Society’s Executive Director and staff. He also expressed his pleasure at the continued growth in new memberships.
